Just to let you know why I am on the Internet daily, looking for gardening information, I thought you should see the challenge that lays before me. This is my backyard. It faces south which is good for the light but that little bay out there opens up into the Atlantic Ocean not too far away. This means that most plants that I put out there are salt-sprayed to death.
The little bush near the cliff is a rose bush and off to the right, there are some large rose bushes. In spite of the delicacy of the pink roses that grow on these bushes, the wind and water do not seen to bother them at all.
And just for a diversion, here are some mushrooms we picked up by the lighthouse. That is a regular sized apple for the sake of comparison.
